Laura Cafasso
Director, Creative Operations
When did you start working for Radancy?
December 2009
What is your current role and responsibilities?
I'm the Director of Creative Operations for the NY creative team. My responsibilities are a cornucopia of things that all revolve around creative. I help manage and maintain the bandwidth of my team, assist with billing questions and processing for creative projects, troubleshoot challenges within creative, organize creative award competitions, and maintain as well as evolve the overall process in creative. I also work with other departments such as digital development and account services quite a bit to answer their questions on the creative practices, billing, and how to best integrate processes to work better together. I typically walk in each day, ready to handle something different to help my team and others work with creative.
What does your department do?
We create! Our team takes research from our brand team or our clients and transforms that into a concept that represents a campaign platform we can then execute into media, photo/video shoots, trade shows, events, video reels, collateral items and unified career sites. We also manage operations with traffic management, scheduling, organizing, estimating, vendor management and billing creative requests.
What other roles have you had while at Radancy?
Digital Project Manager, Digital Producer, Digital Development Team Manager, Digital Development Operations Manager.
What do you think is the best part about working at Radancy?
The people. I have met some infinitely interesting people at Radancy. There is a great variety of personalities and backgrounds in one place. And with each team I have been on, I have always enjoyed coming into work to see them. I have been fortunate to have kind, supportive and extremely fun teams here.
What's one interesting fact about yourself that your co-workers don't know?
I was a professionally trained soprano I, II and alto II in my formative years (and no, I will not sing on command).
