We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Marketing Manager to join our Demand Generation Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns aimed at driving upsell opportunities and maximizing revenue from our existing customer base. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of customer retention, upsell tactics, and revenue generation strategies. 

Key Responsibilities 

Campaign Strategy and Planning: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive upsell and cross-sell campaigns that align with customer needs, business objectives, and revenue targets. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Sales, and Product, to ensure campaign strategies are aligned with customer journeys and product offerings. 

Campaign Execution: 

  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including email marketing, events, webinars, and content marketing targeted at existing customers. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of upsell campaign assets and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints. 

Performance Analysis and Optimization: 

  •  Monitor and analyze the performance of upsell campaigns and events, providing regular reports and insights to key stakeholders. 
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns for higher conversion rates and improved customer lifetime value (CLTV). 
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve the effectiveness of upsell offers and messaging. 

Customer Journey and Lead Nurturing: 

  • Work closely with Customer Success and Sales to identify and prioritize upsell opportunities based on customer engagement and usage data. 
  • Implement personalized lead nurturing strategies to guide existing customers through the upsell funnel and maximize revenue potential. 

Budget Management: 

  • Manage the budget for customer upsell campaigns and events, allocating resources efficiently to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI). 
  • Track and report on campaign spend and financial performance to ensure effective budget utilization. 

Tools and Technologies: 

  •  Utilize marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and customer engagement tools to manage, track, and report on campaign performance. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in customer marketing and upsell strategies. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in campaign management, customer marketing, or digital marketing with a focus on upsell/cross-sell strategies. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful upsell and retention campaigns that drive revenue from existing customers. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and provide actionable insights. 
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for campaign execution and tracking. 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in B2B customer marketing, particularly in the SaaS or technology industry. 
  • Familiarity with customer lifecycle marketing and revenue expansion strategies. 
  • Advanced knowledge of customer marketing and personalized content strategies. 
  • Experience working with customer success teams and utilizing product usage data to drive upsell opportunities.

Salary Range: USD $80,000.00 – $100,000.00*

*The above range is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
