The HR Advisor & Office Operations is a hands-on operational role responsible for delivering robust HR support to the UK business while ensuring the London office operates smoothly, professionally, and is consistently client-ready.


The focus is on providing practical HR advisory support, maintaining People processes, analysing People data, and managing defined office operations.
The role requires regular on-site presence to proactively identify and resolve issues, support employees and managers, and ensure the office environment functions effectively.


Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Advisory (Primary Focus – approx. 70%)
• Act as the first point of contact for UK employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters, escalating complex issues where appropriate
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation management, contract changes, role changes, and offboarding
• Prepare HR documentation including employment contracts, amendments, letters, and policy acknowledgements
• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness
• Support performance management processes, including documentation, timelines, and coordination with managers
• Partner closely with the Global HR Operations Director on UK People priorities and wider European People initiatives
• Collaborate cross-regionally with HR colleagues in Europe and India to support
consistency and best practice
• Support policy implementation and updates, including adapting global policies for local UK application
• Assist with employee relations matters at an operational level, ensuring appropriate
documentation and process adherence
• Analyse People data and trends (absence, turnover, engagement, office usage,
compliance metrics) and present insights to HR leadership to inform decision-making Office Management & Facilities (Secondary Focus – approx. 30%)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all UK office-related matters
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, landlords, building management,
cleaners, caterers, IT and facilities providers
• Coordinate building access, maintenance issues, health & safety checks, first aid supplies, and office compliance requirements
• Ensure the office kitchen is fully stocked weekly (drinks, milk, food, supplies) and that shared spaces are consistently maintained
• Book and coordinate internal events, team meetings, client visits, and office-based sessions, including catering and room setup
• Arrange office lunches and hospitality where required for meetings or visitors
• Monitor office equipment and facilities (e.g. coffee machines, printers, toilets, meeting rooms) and proactively resolve issues
• Support negotiation and renewal of office-related contracts and vendor rates where appropriate
• Maintain office trackers, logs, and records relating to facilities, spend, and suppliers
Ways of Working
• This role requires regular physical presence in the London office (minimum two days per week) to effectively deliver responsibilities
• Strong collaboration with global People teams is expected, including supporting
initiatives outside the UK where required

Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in an HR operations, HR advisor, HR generalist, or People operations
role, ideally within a growing or international organisation
• Solid understanding of UK employment practices and HR processes
• Experience managing office operations, vendors, or facilities coordination
• Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers,
and external partners
• Data-literate, with experience analysing and presenting People or operational data
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable operating independently within defined
parameters
• CIPD qualification (desirable)

• Clear boundaries exist between HR operations, office management, and executive
support

Salary Range: EUR €36,000- €38,000

*The above range is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including, but not limited to, skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
