Senior Software Engineer (Agentic AI)

As a Software Engineer (Typescript & Rust), you’ll build and run the backend services that power Radancy’s Programmatic Ad Tech offering. You’ll work with event-driven architecture, write production-ready Rust code, and help keep our systems reliable, scalable, and always improving.

About the Role 

You’ll contribute to the design and development of backend services in Typescript & Rust, working closely with teammates in Engineering and Product. This role is hands-on: coding, testing, and operating systems in production. We follow Agile practices and continuous planning to stay focused and adaptable. 

Core stack: Rust, TypeScript, PostgreSQL 
Cloud & tooling: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD 

Role and Responsibilities 

• Write production-ready Typescript & Rust code that is reliable, efficient, and maintainable. 

• Design and implement APIs and event-driven workflows that scale with demand. 

• Take ownership of services: from development to testing, deployment, and monitoring. 

• Review code and share learnings with your peers. 

• Work with Product to refine requirements and deliver iteratively. 

• Improve observability by adding metrics, logging, and tracing. 

• Help the team evolve processes, pipelines, and workflows. 

Requirements and Background 

• Professional experience building backend services in TypeScript (Node.js) and/or Rust. 

• Strong understanding of backend engineering fundamentals: testing, concurrency, performance, and correctness. 

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and distributed systems. 

• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL preferred). 

• Comfortable working in an Agile environment with iterative delivery. 

• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset. 

• Curiosity and drive to take ownership and grow your skills. 

  Nice to Have 

• Experience working across both TypeScript and Rust in production systems. 

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform. 

• Background in high-throughput or distributed systems. 

• Knowledge of the ad tech domain (e.g., bidding, pacing, attribution). 

  Architecture & Quality 

• Contribute to system design discussions and propose improvements. 

• Champion quality through testing, CI/CD, and careful reviews. 

• Seek performance gains in code and queries. 

  Security & Compliance 

• Follow secure coding practices and handle data safely. 

• Keep runbooks and documentation clear and updated. 

• Proactively flag risks or vulnerabilities. 

  Operations & Infrastructure 

• Own your code in production: monitor, debug, and resolve issues. 

• Automate workflows to improve reliability and speed. 

• Align infrastructure with team standards. 

  Documentation 

• Write clear design notes and keep project documentation up to date. 

• Work on Technical Design Documents and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to capture design choices. 

• Ensure teammates can easily understand and extend your work. 

Salary Range: EUR €50,000- €60,000
