What You’ll Do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Radancy, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge Cloud Native Technologies. Since 2016, we’ve operated on-premise Kubernetes clusters and have recently transitioned to Talos Linux, embracing an open-source-first approach. You’ll dive into the source code when necessary to solve complex issues, ensuring our websites run smoothly on Kubernetes—a system we’ve used for years.

Your role will involve migrating peripheral tasks to Kubernetes, which will be managed through GitOps (flux). You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to expand our platform, increase automation, and enhance our pipelines, monitoring, and observability. Your expertise will be crucial in setting up a multi-cloud, multi-cluster service mesh and improving the overall developer experience.

Who You Are

• You bring at least five years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Highly skilled in Linux, you easily navigate its complexities and are adept at shell scripting.
• You have strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and OSI.
• Experienced with GitLab CI/CD or similar solutions, you’re an expert in Docker containers and containerization.
• Knowledgeable in MySQL and MariaDB, with Nginx as your preferred web server.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and experienced with Prometheus.
• Skilled in shaping Grafana or similar monitoring tools, with a mastery of Git/GitOps.
• Bonus points for experience in EFK, Ansible, Talos, Flux, Helm, Minio, AWS, Go Lang, PHP, Laravel/Symfony, Vault, Haproxy, Crowdsec, Service meshes in Kubernetes (Kuma/Istio), Terraform.
• You’re not just technically proficient—you’re also a social colleague who communicates and collaborates effectively. You’re analytical, a problem-solver, eager to learn, and fluent in Dutch and English.
