HR Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Specialist to join our team. Based in India, this role will be central to supporting our growing team, while also providing remote HR support to our Singapore office. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR administrative support across the entire employee life cycle and is required to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations

What does a great HR Specialist do?
- Support daily HR needs across the India team (and Singapore).
- Prepare employment contracts for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Customize contracts as necessary based on individual employment terms.
- Create side letters for specific employee agreements, amendments, or special arrangements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Support global recruiting efforts for end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Implement and maintain local HR policies and practices while ensuring alignment with global standards and broader Indian labour laws.
- Maintain and update employee records and documentation in our core HR tool in line with audit and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to manage payroll, benefits, and compliance activities.
- Organize the onboarding and offboarding process.
- Support managers in navigating employee concerns and performance-related conversations.
- Contribute to wider global People Team initiatives as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications are a plus).
- Proven experience in an HR generalist or HR administrative role, ideally 3–5 years.
- Solid understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance standards - Familiarity with Singaporean HR practices is a plus.
- Experience working with payroll and benefits vendors.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable working across time zones and in a global team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indian (both written and verbal).

Work Location
- Hybrid Work Model: This is a hybrid position, requiring you to work in the Bengaluru office 3 times per week.
